Plaid set the standard for secure, intuitive bank linking. As fintech products expanded beyond a single use case, however, a one-size-fits-all flow no longer met the needs of payments, identity, lending, and beyond.
To support an expanding set of use cases, we're exploring a modular linking flow that adapts to contexts like payments, identity verification, lending, and more… all without increasing complexity for users.
Interaction explorations, not final designs
Plaid's rebrand positioned the company as the front door to financial products, guiding how clarity, confidence, and trust show up throughout the linking experience.
These explorations are currently being tested and validated with partners. A full case study, including outcomes and learnings, is coming soon.
